Life Legacy
Helen E. Wilson, 85 of Lincoln Avenue, Cranston, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the Home and Hospice Care of RI, North Main Street, Providence. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Wilson. Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Duffy) Fox. Before moving to Cranston in 2001, Helen was a Pawtucket resident for 50 years. She had been employed as an office clerk for the former Brown & Sharpe Company of Providence for 3 years.
She is survived by three daughters; Sheila Noyes and Wendy Kopka both of Johnston and Diane Rattey of East Providence; four sisters, Frances Stabelia of Warren, Dorothy Brown of North Kingstown, Elizabeth Fox of Greenville and Rita Fox of South County; 26 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late James and Daniel Wilson.
Her funeral will be held Saturday 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the LACHAPELLE FUNERAL HOME, 643 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
