Life Legacy
John Victor Brassard, 81 of Pawtucket, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010. He was the son of Victor Brassard and Juliette (Nee Tougas) Brassard.
John graduated from Assumption High School in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1946 and from Providence College in 1950. In 1952 John married the late Barbara (Nee Sylvester) Brassard. From 1951 – 1955 John served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Forces. In civilian life, he worked for the U.S. Government in several capacities and locations.
John was the father of the late John Maurice who died in 1985.
John is survived by his five children, Christopher John, Timothy Joseph, Dr. Peter George, Martha Mary Dibley and Amy Frances; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on February 6th, 11:00 A.M. at Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nyatt Road, Barrington, RI. Family and friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904. A most caring, warm and generous of the heart, group of people.
